QEII Covenant - Waitahora Pa (1 ha)

A Conservation Plan will conserve this pre-historic garden Pa, including removal of poplars and blackberry and an access public pathway planted with indigenous shrubs and ferns.

Trig Covenant (5.7ha) & Kauhauroa QEII Covenant: (10ha)

Birdlife, Tui, Kereru, Silvereye, are attracted to this mature canopy of native trees and since fencing, a dense undergrowth has been achieved.

Trees include: Rewarewa; Cordyline; Putaputaweta; Titoki; Matai; Lancewood; Rata; Kowhai; Coprosma crassifolia; Horopito; Matipo; Mahoe; Poroporo.
